Rate limit

Overview#

Ceffu’s /open-api/* endpoints are protected by IP-based rate limits to ensure platform stability and fair usage.
Each endpoint that enforces rate limits allows:
2,000 requests per minute per IP address
Rate limits are applied per IP, not per API key.

IP-Based Limits & Handling 429 Errors#

If your requests exceed the allowed limit, the system will return:
HTTP 429 — Too Many Requests
When this happens, you must immediately reduce request frequency.
Repeated violations or continued retry spamming after 429 responses may result in:
Temporary IP throttling
Automated IP ban
